I visited a few weeks ago and got the pleasure of having April take care of us. My husband and I enjoyed her hospitality and kindness. We had sampled the chocolate zucchini bread and it was delicious! I got a chocolate latte that was delicious and I love that they offer oat milk as a option. It's a small quaint place with a wonderful selection of bread everything was well stocked and full of options. Did not disappointment and will look forward to returning to try thier lovely sandwiches next time.

Love their sandwiches! Also, I wanted to put in my own two cents about the cookies. I tried a Snickerdoodle and it was delicious. You can taste the flavors, like cinnamon. This is not a traditional cookie that hits you with a sugar rush— it’s more airy, flavorful and artisan. Will be coming back.

My family loves coming here to eat sandwiches and buy bread. The bread is very good. I think it is better now than it was before the ownership change. The sandwiches are fresh and full of meat and veggies. My daughter also likes the salads, they have delicious homemade croutons as well! We wish there was a bit more selection in terms of sweets or croissants, but whatever we get here is good! The owner also does well with my coffee requests. They use a good bean. I prefer my coffee to be quite strong and so she makes me a custom cortado, which I appreciate. Do stop in to enjoy sandwiches or great sliced bread for the house. It is a decent price and they also have deals sometimes on the loaves. It is one of our favorite shops in McKinney!

Houso Bread is a wonderful bakery with so many great options. They have a wide variety of fresh breads, pastries, and sandwiches. Everything always tastes fresh and homemade. The sourdough bread is very good, full of flavor, and baked just right. Their brownies are rich and delicious, and the pastries are hard to resist. I tried the chocolate zucchini bread, and at first it sounded like a strange mix, but it was amazing. The bread was very moist, rich, and full of flavor. Everyone loved it. The service is friendly and fast, and the bakery has a warm and welcoming feeling. One thing that really makes this place special is their custom bread service. You can tell they care about what they make and about their customers. Houso Bread is a great place to visit, and I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for high-quality bread and baked goods.
